Dr. Kayla Caturay is originally from the beautiful city of San Francisco and joins our team with a strong foundation in small animal surgery and a deep passion for advancing veterinary care. Dr. Caturay has a special interest in orthopedics, including minimally invasive techniques and joint replacement. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of California, Davis. Her dedication to learning and service has taken her across the country through rigorous internships and residency programs, most recently at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital. Dr. Caturay has also been actively involved in international veterinary organizations, fostering global collaboration and education in animal health. Outside of work, she finds joy in traveling, yoga, hiking, paddle boarding, and learning new languages—currently working toward fluency in five. Her well-rounded approach to both medicine and life brings warmth, curiosity, and expertise to every patient she treats.
