Hi, my name is Kara, and I am the Client Service Supervisor at Lenity Vet Specialists + Emergency Care. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
At home, I share my life with two very different cats — Tennessee, who is loud and demanding, and Alabama, who is quiet and reserved. The pair were adopted as a bonded duo through the San Mateo SPCA. I also have five chickens named Beth Dutton, Buckbeak, Beetlejuice, Brooke Davis, and Bernadette.
Favorite Part of My Job
My favourite part of this role is assisting the client service team in developing their skills and helping them level up. I also love helping animal owners understand the procedures and diagnostics recommended for their pets, so they feel confident and informed every step of the way.
Why I Chose This Profession
I chose the veterinary client service role because it combines my passion for animal care with my ability to stay organised, communicate clearly, and support both clients and the medical team in a fast-paced environment. I enjoy being one of the first people clients interact with and helping create a calm, welcoming experience during what can often be a stressful time for pet owners. My background in veterinary settings has also reinforced how important teamwork, attention to detail, and compassionate communication truly are.

I am a Certified Veterinary Office Manager and have built my career around client service and practice operations. At Lenity Vet Specialists + Emergency Care, I focus on ensuring every client interaction sets the right tone and that the Client Service Team has the support and mentorship they need to grow and thrive.
