Hi, my name is Alexis Ayllon, and I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and Emergency Department Lead at Lenity Vet Specialists + Emergency Care. I am passionate about providing high-quality emergency care and helping my patients feel safe and supported in their most critical moments.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I love reading — from novels to nonfiction — and staying active through regular workouts and outdoor adventures here in San Mateo, CA. I share my home with my spicy little trio of cats, Susu, Lucy, and Cider, as well as Tucker, a family dog who lives for a good game of fetch.
Education
I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Carrington College, San Leandro in 2022, and passed my VTNE to earn my RVT licence shortly thereafter.
Work History
I began my veterinary career at VCA Bayshore Veterinary Hospital in November 2021, starting as a Veterinary Assistant while completing tech school and advancing to the primary RVT role upon licensure. I joined Lenity Vet Specialists + Emergency Care following my time there.
Certifications
I am a Registered Veterinary Technician, licensed in 2022.
