Hi, my name is Addy, and I am the Marketing Manager at Lenity Vet Specialists + Emergency Care in San Mateo, CA. I am passionate about the human-animal bond and feel fortunate to combine creativity with purpose every day in the veterinary field.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, basketball, thrifting, and anything involving warm water. At home I am kept busy by Harry, my adorable 10-year-old terrier mix rescued from the Stockton city shelter — my ultimate sidekick and calming partner for the past eight years.
Why I Chose This Profession
My path to veterinary medicine came through the heart. After working in different industries including makeup and optical, I adopted a senior dog named Dakota from the SF SPCA — and that experience changed everything. It sparked a career shift into vet med, where I could channel my love of animals into something meaningful. I am especially drawn to the human-animal bond and the role veterinary social work plays in supporting both pets and the people who love them. My favourite part of the job is showing love to animals at a time when they need it most.
